caught this permit today TAILING on the flats, first time I've ever seen or heard of this in Tampa Bay, talk about crazy!

Super nice! Too bad they're aren't any permit in Tampa Bay. However, that could be a world record pompano ! ;)

Hey Spencer, how the heck have you been? That is a freakish report for sure. The permit were catchable in the bay back in the 80's but it's been years since I
heard of one caught. Nice job.

Amazing catch........first I have ever heard of caught tailing the flats in this area, and been fishing here since 1983.
